Now about the shout casting, I believe iriticus did it last time? I reckon this time we should be getting in someone who plays more t1 so they know what they are on about and who can do a more creative job. (no offence Lloyd I still love you)

/me thinks domin0/bakara is it because he isn't in a clan at all plus I know for a fact he doens't have a social life so he can make them all. He sounds pretty wogish on the mic but I ain't holding that against him :P

Casting with you is doable.. but very difficult to setup. I'd be using Buddyphone or something similar, while casting - my upload would handle, but not much more (This is also how you do interviews and such, you must have two sound cards (as the server, you as a 'client' would only need one)).

However, two people doing one cast doesn't always work - talking over each other and stuff like that.

If we got some practice in prior (do we even have a server yet?) then it could work out - otherwise we're probably better doing maps / matches each, rather then attempting a mixed shoutcast.

I'm willing to try, but we'd need to put in a bit of work beforehand.

I cast because I've been asked to cast Amish - if others want it, by all means, they've got it. While I don't play T1 anymore, the lingo is much the same as it was when I played it 5 years ago, back when you were in the womb ;)

ummm yeah me in the womb, yes i was - ive been playing for 3 years :) im quite famaliar with the aus t1 community now - so there really shouldnt be a problem with that..

i just need to get myself familiar with the "program" that you'd normally use to shoutcast matches.

who hosted the last shoutcast tourney? what kinda connection we talking about as a server?

Last tournament we had a consistent 30 listeners.

I'd archive/save the casts if I could, but the ShoutCAST plugin no longer supports it.

Then figure out how we can record. You could do it, if you had the right third party software - record it as it plays to your computer. I don't know how, though.

If you want to record the shout cast thats no problem

Through working in radio I got a program called Cool Edit Pro, any sound that goes onto the computer I can record, even multi track mix

So I can record the shoutcast and MP3 it for yas.

also if ya live in Newcastle and want to hear my crap arse radio show 103.7 2NURFM 11-1am or online at 2nurfm

you just answered ya own question, no because of the lag, i tried playing and listening we finished the match way b4 it was annonced on the shoutcast that it had ended so meh, so didnt help me at all made it more confusing...
