Heyas,

I can't 'see' any T1 servers through my tribes at the mo, or connect to them normally.

I've tried using kustom's GameServerList.cs for the latest server ip's and still no luck pinging them.

This is what I get when I ping GameArena's IP

C:\Documents and Settings\Phil>ping 144.140.154.71

Pinging 144.140.154.71 with 32 bytes of data:

PING: transmit failed, error code 65.
PING: transmit failed, error code 65.
PING: transmit failed, error code 65.
PING: transmit failed, error code 65.

Ping statistics for 144.140.154.71:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

I'm pretty sure this isn't good.

I've moved into a new flat and the guys there have a maxnet DSL connection (New Zealand). Do you guys reckon this is a problem with my net or that my ip range has been banned by game arena admins?

*edit*

also - does anyone know the command to directly connect to a server through the ~ prompt? Cheers

Pretty sure it's not the crasher's ip range.

Try get in touch with Plasma on here, bittah or irc and he should be able to sort it out.

I've managed to connect, seems to be an issue with tribes. I've had the same problem in the past at Lans where you can't see the T1 sever someone else is hosting. I remebered if you set the ip you can't see as your master server, then reset ya comp it seems to work when you reload tribes, as it did in this case.

Saw you online so assumed this was fixed. But try reading through Cmdr's thread for a list of Master servers.

Can you ping anywhere else?

Are you sure you aren't behind a router that is disabling pinging? Or your firewall is blocking you? Just a thought...
